The Bell Inn is a family-run business located on the High Street of Thorpe le Soken, 75 km from London Stansted Airport. The property has been awarded AA 2 Rosettes for Culinary Excellence and is rated as an AA 4 Star Inn. The building dates back to the 1500s when it was believed to be the Guild Hall of St Michael's Church until about 1545. The Bistro style restaurant is open for lunches, snacks and evening meals. Guests receive a free cooked-to-order English breakfast. The inn offers private hire facilities for business meetings, celebrations, wakes, weddings, baby showers and birthdays. A private function room is available seven days a week. Nearby cultural attractions include West Cliff Theatre and Lifeboat Museum.
